Industrial training today mixes AR with VR, which replaces reality altogether with a digital world that trainees can manipulate and explore. Using VR, a frontline worker can walk around a virtual plant to locate and perform maintenance on a controller cabinet or flow meter. With AR, they can work on the same cabinet or meter projected onto the training-room desk.
These technologies are transforming the on-the-job experience for everyone from field engineers and maintenance staff to plant-floor supervisors.
It’s more important than ever to prepare every worker for this transition. Register online here and join us on August 17th at 9:30am EST (2:30pm BST) and discover:
- The impact technologies like Digital Twin, AI, VR are having on frontline workers
- How to make these technologies work to create a connected worker strategy that will empower each and every frontline worker
Manas Dutta will walk you through the day in the life of a modern, connected worker who has a holistic view of all plant processes and makes every day productive.
