As the EU Methane Regulation introduces new requirements for global gas exporters, including third-party verification of emissions data, the need for standardized, science-based protocols has never been greater. This workshop will provide hands-on training on the verification protocol developed to support compliance with Articles 8, 12, and 28 of the Regulation. Designed for both operators and verifiers, the session will clarify how emissions data, methodologies, and reconciliation processes will be evaluated, and how international standards and OGMP 2.0 guidance fit into the evolving compliance landscape.
