Maggi E. Young has over fifteen years of experience in the oil and natural gas industry. She is currently the Director –Policy & Sustainability at Expand Energy Corporation focusing on federal regulatory and policy issues concerning air, water, and the natural environment. In her capacity she advocates for balanced regulatory treatment in which environmental protections are achieved through an equitable regulatory structure which balances environmental integrity with operational flexibility. More recently, Maggi has been concentrating on environmental, social, and governance (ESG) corporate reporting and management. In this role, she leads Expand’s annual ESG and climate-related disclosures while also supporting annual efforts to certify Expand’s production as responsibly sourced in three major shale gas basins. Maggi received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Seton Hill University and her Master of Science in Environmental Policy from Bard College.
