John Leitel is an environmental scientist specializing in measurement technology and data management for emissions reduction. As Senior Business Development Manager at Konica Minolta Sensing Americas, he advances solutions for accurate emissions detection and measurement. With a background in Environmental Geology from the University of Pittsburgh, John brings over 15 years of experience in compliance inspections, LDAR and GHG program development, and reporting across the oil & gas, wastewater, and chemical industries. He now focuses on leveraging advanced optical gas imaging technology to enhance emissions monitoring. Outside of work, John enjoys canoeing, camping, backyard beekeeping, and learning welding.
