Doug Chipponeri is a petroleum engineer with experience across California and Texas. He began his career in the Wilmington Basin as a production engineer, later working at urban Los Angeles drill sites and in the Santa Maria area, where he managed production operations, regulatory compliance, and facilities engineering. This broad foundation gave him a strong perspective on the intersection of technical, operational, and policy challenges in the energy sector. At LongPath, Doug supports customers in deploying continuous monitoring technology, from optimizing layouts to providing ongoing support for data interpretation and real-time alerting. He holds a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University.
As methane management moves from a side project to a central pillar of operational and regulatory success, environmental and sustainability teams have found themselves thrust into high-pressure data analytics roles — often without formal training. This skills-based masterclass is built to bridge that gap. Attendees will get hands-on with real data, coding exercises, algorithms, and gas analysis techniques to strengthen their practical capabilities. Walk away with the tools to not just meet evolving reporting demands, but to lead them with confidence, efficiency, and accuracy.
